Reasons To Bet Pre-Season Football

by Joe D’Amico

Years ago, it was just those in need of betting football because they haven’t been able to bet in it in nearly 6 months, that would bet exhibition football. However, there are a few hidden gems in pre-season play that you can take advantage of. And, if you’re disciplined, you can go into the regular season with a bankroll. When betting NFLX, there are a few factors to understand…For starters, knowing how many plays or series the “A-team” will play takes precedence. On paper, some matchups look to good to be true, but be sure to be up-to-date as to key players playing-time, not just to the starters, but to their back-ups as well. Speaking of back up players, in some cases the #2 or even the #3 spot on the depth chart is still up grabs. Check out the team page and see who is vying for those spots and how many snaps that player is going to get. Next, new coaches and existing coaches tendencies in NFLX. Each season, a slew of teams have new coaches. Some need to make an immediate impact and some with long contracts do not. History also shows us that some HC’s love to win in August and some couldn’t care less. This is where trends and streaks come into play. Next, Ticket Sales. Some franchises need to win right away in order to boost both individual home games and season sales. Just like the regular season, check your injury reports. But unlike the regular season, there are players that come into pre-season not exactly in game “shape”. Read the news and be sure to follow what major players are in top form. Lastly, often odds makers just have the wrong number on a game in pre-season. This is done by mistake due to new personnel and also because even THEY, themselves, don’t know how many snaps or series the starters will play. They also sometimes depend on what they feel are “fan favorites” or teams that get more action by the bettors, resulting in an “off” line. One thing I do know is that I would never go into battle with a slingshot. I would arm myself with an arsenal of weapons. Having said that, this isn’t what I do, this is who I am. I have the background, the education, the resources, and the time to pick winners for you. Myself as well as the other professional handicappers that you find here are the weapons you need in this battle. Good Luck and have a winning day.
