Magic’s Arenas says he’s been fined by NBA by The Sports Network

 Orlando Magic guard Gilbert Arenas was fined by the NBA, a spokesman for the league said Wednesday.

The amount or nature of the fine hasn’t been disclosed, although Arenas said via Twitter, “yes the nba has fined me….for being to awesome.”

Before the Tweet confirming he’d been fined Arenas chimed, “Does anybody know the NBA twitter rules I need sum one to direct message me it.”

Arenas started last season with Washington before being traded to Orlando in December. He averaged a combined 10.8 points, 3.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game during the 2010-11 campaign.
