Horse Sense by Steve Williams 4/1/11
One month to go before the Kentucky Derby and horse racing fans are eager for this Sunday’s $1,000,000 Florida Derby. Held at Gulfstream Park, the Florida Derby is loaded with talent.
Dialed In, a Nick Zito trainee, will be one of the top choices along with Soldat. Soldat (9-5 early favorite) and Dialed In (2-1 second choice) will be joined by To Honor and Serve , who is looking to bounce back from a poor performance in the Fountain Of Youth on February 26th.
Those aren’t the only three contenders in this 8 horse field run at a mile and 1/8. Todd Pletcher sends Stay Thirsty to the gate off of an impressive win in his last out at Aqueduct in the Gotham Stakes on March 5th. We look for Stay Thirsty at 8-1 to pull the upset at a nice price.
WE ARE HOT at Gulfstream Park, with a $51.40 winner on Saturday, March 19th and yesterday, (April 1) we hit race 6, a $149.00 (1-4) exacta and the trifecta (1-4-7) which paid nearly $2400.00.
So call the office now for longshot winners and big priced trifecta’s. Your BIG HORSE RACING PAYDAY is only a phone call away. You can call toll free and talk to me live, one-on-one at 855-776-8891.
Thanks and Good Luck at the Races!
See you in the winners circle, Steve Williams.
